In the coming season at the Royal Danish Theatre, Robert will conduct Tosca, La Bohème, The Nutcracker, Seven Deadly Sins, and the world premiere of Louise Alenius’ opera Manualen.

Alongside his work in Copenhagen, Robert is active as a guest conductor. This season includes debuts with the Staatskapelle Dresden at the Semperoper, with the Opéra National du Rhin in Strasbourg, in the French premiere of Hans Abrahamsen’s The Snow Queen; with the Orchestre de Montpellier, and at the Luzerner Theater with Pascal Dusapin’s Perelà, as well as a return to the Staatstheater Mainz for the German premiere of Haukur Tómasson’s  Gudrun’s Song.

As well as his love for the orchestral, opera and ballet repertoire, Robert is especially dedicated to working with music and composers of our time. Robert’s close relationship with the Athelas Sinfonietta sees the release in 2022 of a CD of the music of Anders Nordentoft, and several planned concerts of new music.
